About Kelley G.
Kelley G. is a wife, mother of six, author, and longtime intercessor who has walked closely with the Lord for many years. She has a deep passion for helping others navigate both physical and spiritual battles through knowledge, prayer, and the Word of God.
Kelley writes from personal experience and from the lessons and insights God has revealed to her throughout her walk with Him. She believes that what we go through is not always meant for us alone. Sometimes, the lessons we learn along the way become wisdom that can help prepare, strengthen, or protect someone else.
The words of Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge,” have deeply influenced Kelley’s approach to writing. She believes deception thrives where truth is unknown, but knowing the truth brings knowledge, wisdom, and freedom. As Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32, KJV).
That belief is woven throughout Kelley’s books and resources. Her work goes beyond simply providing information. She creates opportunities for readers to reflect, ask deeper questions, apply biblical truth to their own lives, and bring what they have learned before God in prayer.
Prayer is not an afterthought in Kelley’s work. It is an essential part of it. She believes that prayer and fellowship with God are among the most important ways we invite Him into the circumstances of our lives. With the Lord’s help, Kelley has overcome many battles of her own and has stood in prayer with others as they have walked through theirs.
Through the prayers included in her books, Kelley hopes to stand as an intercessor alongside her readers, coming into agreement with them as they seek God for wisdom, protection, direction, healing, and strength for themselves and their families.
Kelley is the founder of Crowned & Called Publishing Co. and the author of Mom’s Christian Journal, Grandma’s Christian Journal, Dad’s Christian Journal, and Granddad’s Christian Journal. Her growing collection also includes Lessons from Good and Bad Choices in the Bible, Volume 1: Genesis, a chapter-by-chapter family devotional journal, and its companion, The Genesis Family Activity Book; the 911 Christian Child Safety Handbook; and Before You Travel, a prayer journal for the journey.
Forthcoming titles include Before I Formed Thee: A Daily NLT Prayer Journal for the Expectant Mother; Wonderfully Made, a Scripture-based affirmation card deck created to encourage and equip parents of children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, or facing academic and learning challenges; and Lessons from Good and Bad Choices in the Bible, Volume 2: Exodus.
At the heart of everything Kelley creates is a simple desire: to help individuals and families know God more deeply, understand His Word, grow through prayer, and pass that faith on to the generations that follow.
Our Story
Crowned & Called Publishing grew out of years of prayer and intercession. As I shared how God answered my prayers, provided for my family, and carried us through seasons of spiritual warfare, the people closest to me kept saying the same thing: “You should write a book.”
Over the years, I began to recognize something God had placed in me. When I poured His Word into others and prayed with them, I watched them grow in their relationship with Him. I saw people move beyond simply knowing about God to developing a deeper intimacy with Him.
I saw this personally with my brother. We were both raised in church, but much of what we knew centered around church attendance and legalism rather than a personal relationship with God. When my brother became seriously ill, I began pouring the Word of God into him. As he drew closer to the Lord, something changed. Before he passed away at fifty-five, he told me: “I have never been so close to God in my entire life.”
Those words have stayed with me. They helped me understand more clearly the gift God had given me: to help draw people closer to Him through His Word and prayer. They also made me think about my own family. If I did not write down the lessons God had taught me, the prayers He had answered, and the ways He had proven Himself faithful, how would my children and grandchildren know? I wanted to leave them more than memories. I wanted to leave them a written legacy of faith. That desire became the foundation of Crowned & Called Publishing.
Why We Publish
I believe many families are facing battles they do not fully recognize or understand. Scripture warns us: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6, KJV) Our children need more than programs and activities. God has given parents the responsibility and privilege of teaching His Word in their homes. And He has already given us the manual we need: the Bible.
In December 2023, I felt a mandate from God to begin praying regularly for children and young people because of the spiritual battles facing their generation. That burden eventually helped birth the 911 Christian Child Safety Handbook and became part of a much larger mission. Today, every book we publish is created with that mission in mind: to help bring families back to the Word of God and equip parents to intentionally teach their children.
It does not have to begin with hours of study. Start with fifteen minutes a day. Gather around the table. Open the Bible. Read together. Talk about what happened, the choices people made, the consequences that followed, and what God wants your family to learn from it. Those fifteen minutes today can provide wisdom that may spare our children years of unnecessary heartache tomorrow.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)
At Crowned & Called Publishing, our desire is simple: to help families know God, know His Word, and leave a legacy of faith that continues long after we are gone.
